How do I re-center the chart horizontally when the contents of the chart are too high or too low? When this happens, the chart is very hard to read. I know there is a way because I did it once (by mistake) and I cant figure it out again. Also, is there a way to add horizontal chart reset function to the toolbar?

You can reset the chart vertically with Chart >> Reset Scales and that command can be added to the Control Bar.
