Interactive brokers TWS is configured correctly because I can load YM futures correctly and place orders through symbol YM-201906-ECBOT Micro E-Mini Dow jones futures does not work. The message from your platform = 'symbol is unknown'. EYM-201906-ECBOT When I create an order it appears on my chart but I cannot modify the order or move it or anything. If I restart Sierra I find that the order has disappeared. So something is not quite right here (Everything works on the YM mini contract) UPDATE: Response I received from Interactive brokers: ------------------------ Thank you for your inquiry. According to our system the order passed the credit check and was approved, but was promptly canceled by the User sending the order. As for your account, you have the permission, Margin capability and funds to place the trade. I recommend you check with Sierra Charts customer service. They should be able to tell you if this problem lies in the API or IB.
