Hi, I'm using IB as my broker. I have the full CME data. When I open an LB (lumber) chart or DOM, it shows prices multiplied by a factor of 10x. For example, right now it's showing prices around 3600. Also, it shows a precision of 0.1 of that. So it actually shows ticks at all prices like 3600.0, 3600.1, 3600.2, etc. That's not how the contract works. It should be 360.1, 360.2, etc. Same "0.1" precision but on a 1/10 of the price. So I went to the Symbol Settings, found the LB symbol on the list, and changed both the Historical Price Multiplier and Real-Time Price Multiplier options to the value 0.1. That change makes the Charts and DOMs display correctly. However, when Sierra Chart sends an order to IB, the order is sent with 10x the price! How to fix this? This is now resolved. Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings: Global Symbol Settings: Update Symbol Settings Those two multipliers that you mentioned must be set to 1. Change those back. Once you have now completed this, then re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Thanks! Wow, this was fast. I just followed the symbol and data update instructions you mentioned, and I can confirm it's working now. |
