I placed a BUY order at market, got the alert sound, and went away. Only to relize, checking my phone after market had closed, that the order hadn't gone through. Back to Sierra, I check the trade log, and see this: ActivityType DateTime Symbol OrderActionSource InternalOrderID ServiceOrderID OrderType Quantity BuySell Price Price2 OrderStatus FillPrice FilledQuantity TradeAccount OpenClose ParentInternalOrderID PositionQuantity FillExecutionServiceID HighDuringPosition LowDuringPosition Note AccountBalance Order 2019-05-11 06:17:25.009 MES-201906-GLOBEX Trading server did not acknowledge new order 1649 1186 Market 1 Buy Order Sent U7448814 Open SimpleBracket.twconfig Order 2019-05-11 06:17:25.010 MES-201906-GLOBEX Trading server did not acknowledge new order 1649 1186 Market 1 Buy Pending Cancel U7448814 Open SimpleBracket.twconfig Order 2019-05-11 06:17:25.011 MES-201906-GLOBEX Trading server did not acknowledge new order 1649 1186 Market 1 Buy Canceled U7448814 Open SimpleBracket.twconfig What would the reason for the order not to have gone through? Is it possible to get a different sound alert when order is not executed? |

You need to contact Interactive Brokers about this and give them the exact date and time and time zone of these order submissions and they will have to check the TWS log to see what the problem is. We ourselves cannot tell what the issue is.
