Hey, I just initiated a simple bracket BUY order trade on the BitMEX for 10K using a stop-limit for the entry price, 2 stops (each at 5k), and one 5k limit order for profit target. Once my trade was initially filled, both my stops and my profit target vanished into thin air. I logged into BitMEX to see if they were still active but nope, they're gone. I've used this type of advanced order before many times, so this definitely is not a pilot error problem, this is an issue with either Sierra Chart or BitMEX. ZS |

It sounds like BitMEX rejected the orders for some reason. Look at your Trade Service Log to see why these orders may have been rejected. You will find the information on the Trade Service Log here: Trading Information Windows: Trade Service Log For more details, refer to the Trade Activity Log: Trade Activity Log Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hey, The same thing happened again today. Order for 10K filled fine, then my profit target and stops disappeared. I have attached a snippet of the trade service log. Also I would like to add that I do have ample funds in my bitmex account. ZS Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-05-08 17:09:27

What is not clear to you in that log? The error is indicating the BitMex system is overloaded. That is a message from BitMex. Case closed.

Why did I get filled then if the system was overloaded? This has also happened back to back. Today and yesterday. When I have some time I will experiment with a tiny trade to see if the issue manifests itself again. ZS |

We cannot answer this question because we do not know the answer and this is not within the scope of our support. Unless an order is getting rejected due to invalid parameters or there is some mishandling of an order response, this is something that BitMex needs to help you with.

Just so you know, I got hit with a system overload again today trading midget size of 10k. As this is rendering attached orders non-functional, in your conversations related to the integration between Sierra Chart and BitMEX, I would appreciate it if you would relay this information to their developers. Thank you. ZS |

This problem exists since...always and the only solution I see would be to for SC to resend the attached orders on system overload (interval should be min. 500ms as per bitmex API documentation). But I gave up the hope long time ago.

Mind-boggling that BitMEX hasn't upgraded their system considering the billions of dollars that are being traded on a daily basis. ZS |

Today was 4 days in row where I got hit with system overload. I've contacted BitMEX to ask why this was happening and what they were doing to resolve the problem. ZS |
