Since the 1881 release, charts using the Percent Change Since Previous Close study with a Value Format of 1% are now being multiplied by an additional 100 multiple. Is there a way to display the scale as a percentage or do the charts need to be converted to use a Value Format of 0.01 to display the correct value albeit without the percentage sign? |

We did make a change a little while ago to now have the defaults display the numbers as actual percentages. This means that the default for the Value Format is 1% and the default for the Multiplier is 100. What is the Multiplier input setting set to? Multiplier is set to 1. I only see the multiplier on the overlay not on the original chart. Setting the multiplier to .01 makes the % correct on the overlay, but the original chart still has the issue. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-04-30 20:40:57

Let's concentrate on the original chart first. The Percent Change Since Open study has a Multiplier Input Setting. This is set to 100 by default. What is this set to and what is the Value Format set to?

We have changed the default Multiplier Input setting to 1 for the Percent Change Since Open study which has the same issue. This solves the problem. We will also add a Multiplier Input setting to the Percent Change Since Previous Close study. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
