Hi ! I have read how to use settlement price with DAILY PP. It works OK. But I can't find a way to use settlement price with the PP- variable period study ( for weekly and monthly PP) I am using those pivots for a 1Minute chart. I am using the chart setting INTRADAY CHART. When I add the PP variable for calculating WEEKLY PP, I suppose The study is using the close price. In order to use the SETTLEMENT price, I should be able to use the Historical data as far as I understand. But if I am using intraday data in the 1 minute chart, that is not available. The study PP VARIABLE PERIOD doesn't have the option of referencing the DAILY CHART DATA for calculating the PP. SO How can I solve this issue? How can I have the WEEKLY PP in my 1 minute chart calculated with the settlement price ? Thanks |

OK. I have found a way to get that. I tell you in case another person wants to get that. I have used de PIVOT-POINT DAILY study with the option USE USER ENTERED OHCL VALUES to YES. I enter the values of the last week/MONTH and change the short names of the different PP. WIth this hack, I can use the historical data for other periods in the intraday charts.
