Hi, In 1913 if you have a main chart that is attached and set to window maximized it loses that setting regularly and goes back to restored. If you have chart DOM columns that are only visible in maximised this is not helpful. Thanks for looking at this. By not stable I mean it loses the maximized setting without altering anything in the chart |

Make sure your charts have a title bar. If not, there can be odd behavior. Although that is going to be at the operating system level. We should just take away the capability to remove title bars. Otherwise, we are wasting our time answering these questions.

Okay, but can you make the title bars much smaller like a few pixel widths? So we can all be happy

i dont know what your problem is, but i appreciate EVERY!!! available pixel i can use for information aka charts. me and certainly others dont want a forced title bar. i am quite happy to be able to block it out.

When I hide title bars of the charts and maximize a chart inside a chartbook it is automatically restored to the tiled size of it while navigating. It is extremely frustrating and distracting. Sierra support discourages using hide title bars option so I am trying to decrease the size of title bars. I found a registry setting inside Windows 10 but I could not make it work yet. If I can do, I will publish the way of decreasing the width of title bars.

"while navigating" - what do you mean? i can max a chart with no title bar any time and nothing bad happens. The only thing that annoys me a bit is the double click to max a chart sometimes minimzes the window again so i have to double click twice, thats it. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-04-30 18:19:04

applying study settings, applying global settings, going to another chartbook and coming back, minimizing Sierra Chart entirely and maximizing it. All of these causing my charts to be restored. Now I use it with Title Bars enabled. I reduced the Windows 10 title bar size by using the below tools as these settings are not available with Win10 anymore. I could gain 24 pixels. Decreasing Title Bar Width: Download Winaero https://winaero.com/download.php?view.1796 Advanced Appearance Settings>Window Title Bars>Window Title Bar Height set to 10 Decreasing Title Bar Font Size: Download changesize.exe from https://www.wintools.info/index.php/system-font-size-changer and set title bar font size to 10 I think Sierra should change using Windows native structure for charts as it is really absurd to change entire systems title bar settings to gain some extra pixels in Sierra Chart itself. We did discover the reason for the problem and it was a solution previously implemented to solve a problem with the old tab control when not using title bars. So this will be solved in the next release along with some additional efficiency improvements related to the tab control. The ability to remove the title bars will remain. What about Auto minimize issues while Chart Title bars are hidden? Did you address them as well? I am testing 1915 and it looks like It is resolved as well. Thanks. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-05-02 08:05:59

Sierra Chart does not minimize charts automatically. It never has done this.

I did not mean Sierra. As you might already know, when Title bars were hidden, they were automatically restored while maximized when applying study settings, applying global settings, going to another chartbook and coming back, minimizing Sierra Chart entirely and maximizing it. Now, these are not happening. So what you have done has resolved this issue as well.
