1) i want to know how sierra get historical data for a particular stock from IB i mean what time frame or date range it selects and on what basis. 2) can i define the time range and date and get historical data for a particular stock from IB. |

This is affected by this particular setting: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#MaxHistoricalIntradayDaysToDownload And also this particular IB specific setting: Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >>Maximum Historical Intraday Days To Download Limit All 24 hours of data is downloaded per day. 2.
