Is there a way to set up an autotrading system based on a TPO study? I know that the source code for the TPO studies is not provided, but is there another way, perhaps through alerts? Specifically, I want to set up a system that detects when price enters a low-volume node (a region with abnormally few TPO blocks compared to the value area), and then places a long or short trade based on previous price direction. The answer is yes and it would be best to use ACSIL for this. You can determine the number of blocks per row with this function: sc.GetVolumeAtPriceDataForStudyProfile() For trading, refer to: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
