1.today is april 5. all of a sudden, on my charts, x axis scale is going to may. this leaves a lot of blank space. What caused it? How do I fix it? 2.when I copy a chart image, where is it stored? it does not paste? is it not on the clip board? 3. on a historical chart, should I not be able to drag the chart bars by using the pointer? it does not work. 1. There are a couple of things that you may be referencing here. First, there is the setting for Number of Forward Columns. This controls how many columns are listed with times after the last bar, which allows you to draw into that area. Refer to the documentation here for this setting: Chart Settings: Number of Forward Columns (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu) Second, how far you can scroll the chart to the left or right can be affected by the option for Lock Fill Space. If this is selected, then the amount of space on the right is locked in place: Chart Settings: Lock Fill Space (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Display >> Chart Display Items menu) 2. It depends on which option you select to get the Chart Image. Refer to the following for the information on where these are saved: Sierra Chart Image Upload Service 3. The only way to move the chart bars is when you have the Hand Tool selected. It does not matter whether you have an Intraday Chart or an Historical Chart. Also, refer to the information above about Lock Fill Space, in case this is creating a problem for you. Refer to the following for the Hand Tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Hand Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
