Hi,

I am watching the Time & Sales for ES/NQ futures against my system clock. Generally the prints stream continuously, but a few times a day there will be an ~10 second delay when no new prints are received. When the Time & Sales resumes I will see that there were actually many prints during the delayed period. E.g. at 10:41:30 the Time & Sales stream halts, then at 10:41:40 it resumes and I will see that there were prints at 10:41:31, 10:41:32, ..., 10:41:39, but they are all received in one burst at 10:41:40. This often happens during fast markets but not always, which makes me think it's a problem with my data feed or internet connection rather than the exchange sending out the data late. (I doubt it's the exchange because if it was then so many big players would complain about it).

I've tried the suggested solutions here but none of them fixed the problem: Prices / Data Falling Behind

I am using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. My ISP is Verizon Fios, I live in NYC, my internet speed is usually around 400-500 Mbps, my computer is connected direct to the router with an ethernet cable, generally it's a fast & reliable setup. I'm thinking about trying to run an internet speedtest the moment I get a delay, but since it may only happen 1-2 times per hour it's hard to catch. I'm aware it's possible to get a dedicated business internet connection, but it's expensive and before I try that I want to rule out any problems/solutions I may be missing at your end.

Most likely there is a connectivity issue somewhere. It is unlikely for this to be an issue on our server. How long has this been going on for?

Next time it happens post here and we will check on our server to see if we notice anything unusual with your connection.

It's been going on for at least a few weeks which is when I started watching the time & sales closely. I will post when it happens again although it won't be until after the fact since each delay lasts no longer than 10 secs.

It is okay if it is after-the-fact. We had another user with this problem and after a very extensive analysis it is some network issue somewhere. It may not be with your particular ISP. It is some ISP along the way between our server and your computer.

We notice this issue as well to one of our development systems we use in a completely different data center. These kind of problems are very very hard to track down and we are certain they are not with our own systems.
