TPO levels do not match colleagues' levels

Hello,
I am part of a small group of traders, and I notice that my TPO levels are often different from my colleagues' levels. We have gone through the charts settings and seem to have the same settings. We are each in a different time zone, though I have checked my chart and computer settings, and they seem to be correct too.

However, I wonder if you can help me identify if my charts are properly set up. We all use a Continuous, Volume-Rollover based chart.

One person is in the US, West Coast and uses his local time.
Other person is in Ireland and uses GMT +1

I am in Italy and use ONLY EST, New York City USA time for my computer. For my chart I have tried using Global Time and New York time zone settings. My TPO levels continue to be the same whether or not I use Global Time Zone or New York, and the TPO settings continue to be different from colleagues. What else can I do to check if I have the correct settings?

I want to have accurate, historical TPO Value Areas and POCs. IQ Feed is my data provider, and they are very good.

I have everything set for EST, New York time to avoid issues, yet something is off. Please advise. I am sending a chart to help you diagnose the problem.

Do you need to use IQ Feed? The Sierra Chart exchange data feed is going to be much more economical and faster with historical data delivery:
Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed

And the management of continuous futures contract data is going to be automatic with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed. For example with IQ Feed you have to fully re-download the data at every new contract month if you are using one of the back adjusted options. You are also using a back adjusted option and that may not make sense.

This is the TPO profile data that we see for the day beginning at 2019-04-01 18:00. Are your values matching for that day?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I've been comparing my charts to other Sierra Chart users.

I've been using IQ Feed because I had also been using two other software platforms. One I have since stopped using. The other is Jigsaw software. I don't know Sierra Chart's DOM yet well enough to know if it's comparable, but I'm certainly open to using Sierra Chart's data.

Regarding the Chart Values, you didn't mention what time zone you use or session time. I forgot to mention that I use the Regular Trading Hours 9:00 - 14:29:59 in East Coast Time USA.

Also, as mentioned, I use the QCL#C contract, and I notice you have the CLK19. They should be the same, but just want to draw your attention to the potential differences.

Did you see the chart I sent in my earlier email?

Anyway, resetting the Chart session time to 4/1/19 18:00 - 17:59:59 the next day, I do have the same values for the Open, Value Area High and Value Area Low.

The biggest difference I see with my colleagues has to do with past profiles. We are all using QCL#C contracts, volume-based rollover.

What Chart Values do you have for 11/12/18 9:00 - 14:29:59 EST? This is one of the dates in question

I have the following:
Open 62.03
Close 60.98
TPO Value Area High 62.32
TPO Value Area Low 61.58
TPO POC 61.95

you didn't mention what time zone you use or session time.
We are using your provided chart and the time zone is US Eastern time.

QCL#C is back adjusted. Are you aware of that? This is inherently the problem . You all need to fully re-download all data for that symbol every time there is a new contract month. This does not have to be done with the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed.

Re-download all the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >> Delete All Data and Download". You just need to do this once per symbol and not for each chart.

The Sierra Chart Trading DOM functionality is quite advanced. We would expect it to meet your requirements.

Thank you so much. I did not know that about having to reload the data after a new contract month. I will try that. Hopefully it fixes the problem. I will check out the data pricing plan too.
