Is there a study that will highlight a specified range for a period (specifically looking for the "opening range", but could be generic for other things), and display/extend that range in a rectangle for a specified period (say, to the end of day)? For example, i'd like to highlight the first 30 seconds opening range for ES (9:30:00 - 9:30:30 New York Time) and then create a rectangle of that extends to the 5pm close of the day. for example http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1554237201490.png |

Yes, this can be done using the High Low For Time Period Extended along with the Transparent Fill Top and Transparent Fill Bottom subgraphs. Refer to the following for the High Low for Time Period Extended study: High/Low for Time Period - Extended Refer to the following for creating a fill between the subgraphs: Chart Studies: Filling the Area Between Two Study Subgraphs within Same Study Also, to do what you need with a 30 second opening range, you have to set the chart bars to 30 seconds per bar. This is the only way to do this.
