I'm helping a colleague of mine transfer his Sierra Charts to a new computer.

We are having an issue with a couple symbols not properly updating during market hours. We are integrated with Interactive Brokers and all the other symbols are updating properly except 2 are being problematic.

We had initially installed Sierra charts on to the new computer, then just copied the deleted the sierra chart folder from the new computer and copied the sierra chart folder from the old computer and put it on the C drive of the new computer. Only one of the tickers were not updating properly, and it appeared after doing an update on the new computer it would start updating. However, this had to be done every day then the symbol stopped working all together.

I then deleted everything and did a new install, and then followed the steps outlined help topic 15;
Transferring Sierra Chart Settings and Data From Existing Installation to New Installation

This seemed to resolve the issue with one of the symbols, but then another symbol started experiencing the same issue and was not updating during market hours. However, when we open sierra charts on the old computer the all the symbols are updating with no issues.
I figured it may be a problem with the dly and scid files for those symbols so I deleted those data files from the new computer and replaced with the files the old computer but the issue still persists with just one of the symbols.

I don't believe this is an issue with the data connection with IB since all the other symbols are updating properly and the SC is connecting to IB properly.
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong in the logs as well.

What could be causing specific symbols to not be updating?
Is there any additional steps outside of the help topic 15 that may resolve this?

Please ignore this issue. We took another back up yesterday from the old computer, and completed Help topic 15 from scratch and everything appears to be working today.

This is not related to having moved to a new computer. Even it there is a relationship, it will only be because a setting is incorrect or something along those lines. It is definitely not related to the files that store the data (.scid and .dly).

The first thing to do is to review this section of the documentation and see if any of these apply:
