Hello, If i open 4 instances of SC on a single Windows 10 using File->New Instance, the 2nd instance is missing my custom indicators and chartbooks. Instances 1,3,4 are fine. Please advise if i am missing something. Thanks |

I believe the studies are copied from the first instance when each additional instance is created. If you created instance 2 some time ago, it may not be up to date. If you just created 3 and 4, then they got the latest studies, chartbooks, etc. I would try deleting instance 2 and then creating a new instance. I don't know what number it will be, but it should get everything from the first. |

I spoke too soon. The new instance is giving a "Windows error code 126: The specified module could not be found. Likely missing dependency file.". I have custom 3rd party indicators that use .lib files and they are not being moved to the new instance. Is there a setting somewhere to account for copying .lib files?

No these have to be manually moved . Also, we will also make sure that DLL files are always updated in a sub instance and any new ones are copied as well. We thought this is the case. Update: This was not the case, and will be the case effective with version 1881. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
