Hello team, From this documentation, it says "When a Trade DOM window is attached to the main Sierra Chart window, the standard Normal Select pointer will always be used. ": Chart Drawing Tools: Controlling the Type of Pointer Displayed When Using Drawing Tools I have the trade options as in the attached file and I still see the Normal Select pointer (not the Precision Select). Is that configuration ("Attach Trade Window To Chart") considered as a DOM window? If you are manually trading is not that cool to use the Normal Select :( Thanks! |

Is that configuration ("Attach Trade Window To Chart") considered as a DOM window? No.To use the cross type of pointer, you just need to enable the Chart Values tool: Chart Drawing Tools: Chart Values/Crosshair Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello team, Unfortunately that´s a configuration I usually have selected and it´s not showing the cross type of pointer, I always see the white pointer. Attached two images: 1. You can see from the config that Chart Values is selected. 2. A demonstration that the white pointer is present while Chart Values Tool button is selected. FYI: I had to take a picture with the mobile phone because using PrintScreen or Snipping Tool was removing the pointer. Thanks and Kind Regards. |

This would have to be a change in your Operating System Mouse properties that the Precision Pointer is now set to the arrow. On standard Windows 10 you would find these selections by going to Settings >> Devices >> Mouse (on left) >> Additional Mouse options (on right) >> Pointers Tab (on Mouse Properties window). If that does not help we cannot provide further help with this. It is not within our control. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hello team, I´ve confirmed that renaming Sierra3.cfg to for example Sierra3.old and letting it to create a new file makes it work. This means it´s related to a configuration inside Sierra Chart, not related to the OS. However, the look and feel changes and I would like to make it work with my old config if possible. I was about to compare both files (working and non-working) but just realized it´s a bin so only you would be able to do so. I´m attaching the working Sierra3.cfg and the non-working Sierra3.cfg for you to check on my behalf please, if you would be so kind. Thanks! |

This is the result of having Global Settings >> Tool Settings >> Chart Values >>Always On When Chart Values Tool Selected enabled.
