Hi, it's come to my attention that when using intraday data the daily open and close figures are often off from their correct values. Using historical charts the daily open and close figures are correct but outside of that, open figures are often off. An example is included with the attached image. Please advise. Thanks |

There can be different reasons for this and we cannot really provide a definite explanation. One possible explanation has to do with the official settlement price which is different than the closing price you see on an Intraday chart and another explanation has to do with the possibility that the daily bar covers more than the day session only.
