HI, I WANTED TO KNOW HOW CAN I SEE THE PREMIUM REQUIRED TO PURCHASE AN OPTION FOR TREASURY FUTURES, ALL I SEE IS TICK VALUES. i AM ASKING SINCE I PAY THE PREMIUM TO BE ABLE TO BUY FUTURES, FOR WHICH I WILL NEED A MARGIN OF X. SO I WANT TO KNOW IF MARGIN FOR 2 CONTRACTS IS 2000 AND I HAVE 3000, HOW DO I KNOW THE DOLLAR VALUE OF PREMIUM I WILL PAY UPFRONT ? |

hi, then how do i know the margin needed to maintain a purchase for a contract ? if outright is 500usd and i have 1000usd will my transaction be accepted ? |

This is really a question for your broker. It's not a Sierra issue - whatever the answer is, it will be the same no matter what software you're using to chart the option. But it may be different for different brokers - brokers have some leeway in setting their margin policies, as long as they meet CME's minimums.
