Global Profit/Loss Management - Issue with Sub Instances

I use a Base Instance set permanently to Live account and place trades on 3 Sub Instances toggled between Live and Sim. Overall P&L management is by Global Profit/Loss Management on the Base Instance which has minimised charts for all commodities traded on the Sub Instances. The Global Profit/Loss Management on the Base Instance is currently only picking up trade data for the Live trades placed on Instance 1, the Live trades from the other two Instances are not being picked up. Trades from all three Instances are picked up correctly on the Base Instance Trade Activity Log. On V1853, issue was the same on v 1850. Several versions ago Global Profit/Loss Management on the Base Instance was correctly picking up trade data for all three Sub Instances. Sorry can not be specific as to when issue arose. Today is first session in quite a while I have had Live trades away on all Instances and The Global Profit/Loss Management should have kicked in. I appreciate it may take some time to look into post#1 In meantime updated to v1863 and worked with a study using the sc.GetTotalNetProfitLossForAllSymbols(0) function. Back tested a chartbook in the base instance using 2 symbols the function only picks up P&L for the latest symbol traded. The Trade Activity log correctly picks up all the trades. Maybe this issue is related to the problem with the Global Profit/Loss Management? |

We apologize for the delay. We needed some time to get back to this and do some related code review which we are still doing. In regards to post #1, the first thing to do is to go to the Trade Stats for Charts tab and make sure you see a line for each Symbol and Trade Account you want to participate in the Global Profit/Loss management, in the main instance: Trade Activity Log: Trade Statistics for Charts (Chart Stats) Tab For that to occur, you will need a chart open in the main instance for that particular Symbol and set to Chart Trade Mode, and set to that particular Trade Account through the Trade Window. We realize, that we need to do a significant design change in the way that Global Profit/Loss management is tracking charts. We will be adding an option to the Chart Settings for that particular chart to be included in the calculation.

Re post#3 hereby confirm that Trade Stats for Charts tab in the Base Instance contains a line for each Symbol and Trade Account. Also the Trades tab on the Base Instance correctly lists all trades for the Live Account placed via the 3 Sub Instances. |

We discovered what the problem is and we are correcting this now. It is different than we thought and the change mentioned in post #4 will not be done at this time.

Confirm that Global Profit/Loss Management on the Base Instance is now OK. It was first necessary to go into each chart on the Base Instance at Chart Settings / Chart Settings3 and tick "Include in Global Profit Loss Management" Suggest you update online manual with this requirement. Thanks for resolving the issue |

Actually that setting is not used. We need to hide that. It was never implemented. We may use it but at this time we do not think it is critical.
