It is possible to get the marker, but you cannot move the marker itself on the screen. To display a marker, you would need to replicate your Alert condition to the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition study. The documentation for the study can be found here: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition Also, you will want to follow the instructions in the section on that webpage entitled "Drawing Arrows/Text or Other Styles at the High or Low of Bars".: Color Bar Based on Alert Condition: Drawing Arrows/Text or Other Styles at the High or Low of Bars Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thanks a lot for the tutorial but it's much too complicated just to display a marker. So I always have to create a study for each chart. If you trade a lot of stocks like me, it's not very comfortable. It would be great if you could set an alarm with the right mouse button directly in the chart and move it. In Ninjatrader and other programs this works very well. And the whole without study. Would it be possible to open a feature request ?

This is supported: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/StudyChartAlertsAndScanning.php#AddSymbolAlert You could also use the Horizontal line drawing tool and set an alert on that: Chart Drawing Tools: Horizontal Line | Horizontal Ray | Horizonal Line Non-Extended | Vertical Line Chart Drawing Tools: Chart Drawing Alerts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
