Hello I am working with the overlay functionin charts and I am stumped. I am trying to overlay a 5 minute chart on top of a 1 minute chart. Basically it allows me to see what is going on inside the 5 minute bar. I got it to work but the filled rectangle option doesn't look that gret and by default it will not let me change it to hollow candle or cahgne the transparency of the colors. I NEED either hollow body only candle or a HOLLOW high low box or hollow open close box all based on the 5 minute not the 1 minute values. Worst case scenario would be lines drawn every 5 minutes at the open and close of the 5 minute period.. bu this seems CPU intensive! thanks in advance |

I know you are very busy. does anyone know how to do this or have a suggestion? Basically I have 5 (1 minute) ohlc bars inside of a hollow giogh low box or inside a hollow open and close box. thanks Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-01-03 17:21:01

There is an User Contributed study that does this: NMinBars Add the study to your 1 min chart and set the Min Count to 5. User Contributed studies are accessible with the 'Add Custom Study' button. |

It sounds like you have the Input for "Use Styles and Widths from Source Study" on the Study/Price Overlay study set to Yes. Just wanted to give both of you a humongous..THANK YOU!!! is there a way to also have it show open to close versus high low? thanks again. I never knew custom studies were even listed here.. yay |
