Hi, I wonder if there already is an indicator or study that could achieve this functionality - I did look through the list of indicators but could not find a good match. I would like to colour a bar/candle as soon as it goes lower than a previous Low swing point. (Not just a previous bar - that's not useful). The point is that quite often a bar would come very close to the previous swing Low/High and then reverse. The difference could be a tick or two and not immediately clear whether the previous swing point was taken out or not. Here is a chart snippet indicating the desired functionality: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1546433925858.png And a similar functionality for "current bar/candle going above the previous swing high". Maybe there is something that does this already; maybe this is something I could put together from existing parts or maybe this is something you could add in upcoming versions of Sierra? I need something that is quick/easy to use on a fast moving chart. Drawing a line and setting up an "alert" on that line requires too many clicks. Thank you, Andrei |

A tool customisation query. Hi, I wonder if the functionality I want already exists or maybe this is something I could add/customise/program myself or perhaps you could add it in the near future. What I want is to draw a Horizontal Ray from the highest/lowest point of a swing. I don't know if detecting a swing programmatically is an easy thing or not. And I can see 2 possibilities here. 1) some code detects every swing high/low and draws a Horizontal Ray from the outer point of it. 2) I perform some kind of Fn+click on a bar and a Ray is drawn from high or low of that bar, as appropriate. I looked at Swing High And Low study and it does something similar to what I want (with the "extend lines" option), but the chart gets overloaded by too many lines, which can not be deleted. Perhaps you could make it possible to right-click and Erase any of those auto-generated lines? That would probably cover my needs for now. Speaking more broadly, it might already be possible to draw a tool-line based on outputs generated by a study? Could you please advise if something like this is available or could be done. Here is an example of what I'm after. Note there are no excessive lines/rays off of every small swing: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1582622230894.png Thank you, Andrei |

Hi Ackin, Thank you for a prompt reply. Still not clear, I'm afraid. If I use "Swing High And Low" study from the "F6" list then I get lots of lines: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1582667806617.png And there is no way to remove/hide any of those. If there was a way/option to erase any of those lines then such a study would be a good option for me. Is this possible somehow? I searched the Support Board for "ACSIL Swing" and didn't find anything specific. Is there any specific study/functionality that does something like this? Thanks! Andrei |

Hi, I don't know what study you're using. Probably default Sierrachart study.....The image above (#4) is one of the variants of the study that I created and which is free to download on our czsk forum. contact link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=StudyStore&SCDLLName=zyp_download_free |
