Can you tell me how to smooth out the 5 renko. When the market moves then the 5 renko gets jacked up. In order to make it look right I have to "reload and recalculate". Today after non-farm payroll news the market started jamming, and I had to reload and recalculate several times in order to view the chart correctly. In this case the 15 renko needed to "reload and recalculate" in addition to the 5 renko. Is there a solution to this messed up problem? http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383917722123.png http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383918122531.png and here's the after I reload and recalculate. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383918154977.png and 10 seconds later http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383918214877.png I can't use the renko charts like this. I really want to use the renko charts. |

This is in a normal moving market. #irritating #messedup #canttradethis before http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383919261712.png then after "reload and recalculate". This is what I need all of the time. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1383919368673.png |

I use whatever comes default from Infinity Futures. So I'm not sure. On my chart at Global Settings -> Data/Trade Service Settings shows "Service [trading]". Global Settings -> Data/Trade Service Settings -> SC Server Settings show Sierra Chart Server Settings if that indicates the data feed. Check out the time span too. This is in about 10 seconds time. Painful to watch, especially when I'm trying to see the price. http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=138392065060.png Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-11-08 14:31:24

Right now at Global Settings -> Data/Trade Service Settings, the "Intraday Data Storage Time Unit" is set to 10 seconds. Should I set that to "1 tick"? That makes sense. |
