Why some contracts have sporadic dotted prints when set to continuous

I've attached two screenshots. One of the CME Ruble contract & another of the AUD/USD contract. I can understand that the AUD may be more liquid so there are more prints, but how come the R6 contract is dotted up until we reach the current month? I have set this to a continuous contract with volume-based rollover --- shouldn't even the ruble show more consistent prints since it grabs all the data from the previous months? If it trades so sporadically wouldn't the Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec data also be 'dotted'?

Just curious how this works and what's happening with the contract data.

We had to set up the rollover rules for that ruble futures contract. This is now done.

Follow the instructions here to update the Symbol Settings:
Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

After the above is done reload the chart with Chart >> Reload.

Ah cool, I can see it's changed now. It's similar with KDZ18 (korean won), MQ (mexican peso) & NR (norwegian krone). Is that due to just hardly any prints or symbol settings? out of curiosity what change did you make?
