Hi, I appreciate many features you have built for the Alert function but is there a simple way to put a price alert on a chart without getting through all those options every time? I mean is it possible to just one or two click max. on a chart and set a price alert wherever your cursor was? Now I have to first draw the line, then choose Alerts, and then go through all those options and then click ok. I have to do it for each of my 10 markets multiple times during day. It is very time consuming and inefficent. Thanks! |

Don't use a drawing tool alert. Use a symbol price alert directly from the chart. First add the menu selection "Add Symbol Alert" to Global Settings/Customize Chart Shortcut Menu. That gives you the right click option on the shortcut menu. You should also add "Show/Hide Alert Manager" to the Shortcut Menu. Also, with Alert Manager you can edit, delete, rearm or add a new alert on the Symbol Alerts tab.

I have simplest and most practical idea: SC can program it as a one click option in a chart dome - let's say right mouse click directly on the price (would activate one time simple alarm when first traded at that price), second right mouse click would cancel alarm before it's triggered. I would use it every day, so would you guys, guaranteed. |

Would you please explain with more detail how I should do to set it? Thanks. |

SC Team, I do have a suggestion regarding this which would really do the job simply (MT4 platform uses it and is nothing compared to SC). On this chart I have 2 alerts: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?l=1385466878979.png but I can't see them graphicaly which after 5 mins makes me question If I've put them there in the first place. Second, If I right click on the mouse I can choose "Add symbol alert". Wouldn't it be nice that the option "Comparison" would automaticaly adjust "above/below cuurent mkt price" just by acknowledging where you clicked on a chart? That would simplify it to "only" few click alert feature. Can we expect anything like that, please? Thank you. |

I'm not a programmer but seen several places the capability like oec, cqg etc...and knowing that SC can match any of them and more (and they do) should be possible. Thanks |
