If I try to load ADR-NASDAQ symbol into my chart it will work just fine BUT when I switch to NVOL-NASDAQ symbol it will jam the whole computer because out of the physical memory. I tried this in 2 different computers (Windows 10 & Linux) and the result was the same. Even if I disconnect the data services (while downloading) it will just continue filling up the memory. SierraChart version is 1842 |

You need to remove all studies from that chart and make sure the timeframe per bar is based upon a fixed time. It is not the symbol itself, there must be some study you are using or the timeframe per bar setting, which then based on the settings is using a lot of memory.

By removing all the studies didn't give any help BUT when I switched to fixed time it did. So range bars cannot be used. I can live with this. Thank you. Edit Now I understand what was happening. I was using very small Range bars and this was the problem. It was rendering those small range bars. So I should use bigger range bars or switch to the time based chart as I did.
