Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance: Using DTC Server for Data and Trading in Another Sierra Chart Instance I'm trying to apply this functionality in a second machine which is NOT in my LAN. In config parameters I see I must specify the IP adress of client computer. Due to most of internet providers use dynamic IP assignation, is there any way of solving this issue and don't need to change IP client field manually every time the ISP changes the IP adress? It would be for sharing a CTS connection (don't know if it makes any difference) |

You can use a domain name instead of an IP but then you also need to use a service which many routers have to map the IP to the domain name. So there is a solution for this. Plenty of information available on the Internet about how to do this.
