Is it possible to set up a trailing stop that first trails in steps and then when a defined level is reached just trails 1:1 with price? eg: I want stop go to BE after 2pts. then move 2pts when price is at 4pts and an other 2 pts when price is at 6pts. then when price is at 7pts i want it to trail behind 0.5 pts. so if it goes from 6 to 8, stop should be at 7.5 already. possible? |

Is this still the case? Is there any way to tighten a trailing stop as price moves further in favor?

There is not a built-in order type for this. You could do this using a custom study. Refer to the following: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
