I have been trying to figure this out for a long time now and I can't get it. My charts just randomly get very slow with a lot of lag time on my pointer. For example my pointer will be at a price and my crosshairs are way behind. When I try to click and drag my charts it's even worse. I followed all the guidelines to eliminate data usage with no luck.

Whenever I have computer lag in any program I open the task manager (or resource monitor) and try to observe when it is happening what resource or program may be causing the issue. Not saying it is not SC but to confirm is the best first step. Also do yo have adequate Video memory. When I did not in the past it did cause lag issues.

I have checked task manager before and did not see any issues. How do you check your video memory?

In Windows 7 right click the desktop - got to screen resolution and then click advanced settings. You want to know the dedicated Video memory.

In Window 10 right click the desktop and click on the graphics card control panel, hen click the system information (properties) at the bottom of the window. Scroll till you see the dedicated video memory
