Hi I had a couple questions about TT data. Can I not connect on weekends to get intraday data to analyze charts ? I can only get historical data from sierra on weekends, is this normal ? Does TT bump me off everyday at 5:30 pm eastern and I have to reconnect manually when futures reopen at 6 pm ? How far back does intraday data go with TT ? only 30 days ? I do not know where to find this information, perhaps you can direct me ? TT through AMP is what I am using. Thanks Shane |

The first two questions need to be directed to your Trading service. We are not in a position to provide authoritative answers for these. However, to make sure that Sierra Chart automatically reconnects make sure you have enabled Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Reconnect on Failure. Also, we are going to be releasing this week our own CME market data feed: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php When use this data feed, you will be able to get historical 10 minute delayed data when you cannot connect to the Trading server. The historical Intraday data goes back at least 3 years. Go to one of your Intraday charts and select Edit >>Delete All Data and Download. Make sure you are connected with File >> Connect to Data Feed. If the chart is still blank, then provide a copy of the Message Log, by following these steps: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#log Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. When using AMP/TT Net you will get historical Intraday data. If you are not, then we need to look at the Message Log. You are the instructions to provide that: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#log Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Refer to this help topic: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=helpdetails62.html From what we can tell, you are having trouble connecting to the data and trade server which means that you will have to ask your broker about this problem.
