When I replay a chart utilizing tick data (DOM, Footprint), when playing at 1.00 speed, I am getting bursts of data that appear to pause every second or so. This makes replaying for practice unrealistic. To try and solve the problem I have: - tested on two different machines. - ensured that virus checking was turned off (Windows Defender) - ensured that the chart update interval setting is at a high enough resolution I can provide a video to demonstrate the issue if requested. |

I should add that I am using a 1 Tick intraday data storage time unit in the Data/Trade Service settings and am using IQFeed as my data source.

Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/ReplayChart.html#HistoricalIntradayDataRecordTimeframeEffect Due to how the time stamping is done it does make sense that you would see one second at a time with a replay speed of 1. This will be improved upon in the coming months. There is nothing you can do now. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
