Hello,

there is still an issue with the volume profile selection tool after it was drawn on a chart. The only way to re-arrange volume profile drawing is by clicking on the outline, regardless of the configuration in the tool settings. Also it is very buggy outline with axis off the to the left side and doesn't always work while using a "pointer tool"

Thanks.

Once the drawing is drawn you can only re-arrange it once after that it becomes locked for the pointer tool and the only way to re-arrange is by using Chart Values tool.

Updated to version 1834. The update partially solves the issue, it still takes 3 to 5 clicks before profile can be re-arranged again. It seems that I need to click outside of the profile outline for selection to work again. Still buggy!

Latest build 1834 did not help with UKOil chart please review the attachment.

P.S I found another bug with Drawing Volume Profile tool, if you want to me to add the info on it to this ticket please let me know.

We recommend updating to the latest Pre-Release (1836) and try again. As we saw some inconsistency in 1834 that we do not see in 1836.

On 1836, all the options within the Tool Settings related to selecting the Drawn Volume Profiles are working properly, which includes the following Support Left Click to Select Chart Drawings, Enable Drawn Volume Profile Selection, and Select Drawn Volume Profile by Outline Only.

As long as you have the option Enable Drawn Profile Selection selected, and the option Select Drawn Volume Profile by Outline Only unselected, then you should be able to right-click on the Drawn Volume Profile and select Adjust Drawing to move the left edge of the profile. It is not possible to move the right edge.

Also, the right edge of the outline is farther out as the profile is only displayed within 70% of the region by default. To change that setting, you would need to go into the Volume Profile settings and change Maximum Volume Bar Width Percentage.

For the record, there has been no development done in recent versions with the Draw Volume Profile tool or selection of those objects. Nothing has changed and nothing has been resolved. So why any version changes make a difference, does not make sense.

We do see an issue with the selection and adjustment of Volume Profiles that we are looking into.

If you have 'Chart / Hide Chart Drawings' turned on, you will be able to draw and see the volume profile, but you won't be able to select or edit it.
