Hi, Say i have a moving average line or any other study that generates a line/curve....I would like to create a band around it (i.e upper and lower lines that follow the same shape but with a user defined offset). The only way i can do this currently is using the "Study Subgraphs Add" study. However, it requires using a "line study" to define the constant offset...which adds clutter to the already cluttered studies window. Is there a better way of doing this? thanks |

Use this study instead: Study Subgraph Add This adds a value just to a single Subgraph. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-10-29 17:22:41

You can also use the Bands/Envelope study, with the 'Based On' set to the moving average study.

for anyone else... i tried 1) bands/envelope based on 'current price line' using fixed value however, since the screen fits the new study bands/envelope, the bars become really small or non existent when i scroll back and price is far away from current price (which usually is in the evening when i do the review) 2) study subgraph add/subtract based on last this works like a charm Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-04-26 15:44:59
