I have tried every combination I can think of in the scaling options to get a MACD and a Stochastic to work with the "0" MACD line to be the same as the "50" stochastic line. They keep moving on me as I zoom the chart in and out.

You can do it using multiple instances of the Study Subgraph Subtract, or the Study Subgraph Multiply, studies. It depends on whether you want the Stochastics to be shifted or the MACD to be multiplied. |

Spoke too soon. I tried both ways, but it is not giving the desired outcome. I am trying to get MACD "0.0000" to be dead center of the region, and also have Stochastic "50" be dead center, and not have the MACD be scrunched in. Actually, I would like the Stochastic "0" and "100" to also be the extreme of the MACD, so that the two indicators move more as one. Any more thoughts? |

I think the easiest way to accomplish this would be to combine them into the same indicator, shift the stochastic fifty line to zero, then normalize the macd to 50. I can do it later.

Stochastics has an extreme of 0-100. MACD does not have set extremes. Attached is a Study Collection that shifts the Stochastics down 50, so that 50 is zero, and multiplies the MACD x50. This MACD multiplier works on the ES, but you may have to change it for another market. Put the attached in the Sierra Chart \Data folder, and click on Analysis >> StoMACD- Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-10-30 04:56:33

I tried something similar, but I lose the ability to adjust the MACD, and so it gets very tiny and squished to where you cannot see the subtleties in the motion. The best I have been able to do is shown in the attached image, next to that study collection you sent. The one on the left is what I want it to look like, and I have gotten something that will work, with the only problem being that the MACD moves when I scroll, losing it's reference to the center line.
