We use a bevy of audio alerts. We would like to know if there is an easy way for us to populate our customer's instances of Sierra Chart with these so that their alert settings are automatically populated? We would to mitigate issues that might arise from manually establishing all of these alert settings. Screenshot explanation attached. |

Yes. This is in the main global configuration file that can be sent to a user. Refer to the instructions here: File Sharing But just make sure you are sending it from an instance of Sierra Chart that does not have any Global settings that you do not want to share. If we use this approach, will we then overwrite any customizations that the recipient has made to Toolbars, Keyboard Shortcuts, etc? Also, the approach recommended requires human intervention in terms of acquiring a Sierra Chart's Username/Account Name and also a manual generation for each user. Is there a way that we could publish a config file on our download site, and/or, publish this file on the Sierra Chart file distribution system? |

Yes we can provide the global configuration file which you provide us, to your users Sierra Chart installations but it would only be used for a new installation of Sierra Chart.

If we provide our .wav files to Sierra Chart, can these .wav files also be automatically installed into the C:\SierraChart\AlertSounds folder?
