We have not had too much time to spend on this. It is something that requires a lot of consideration and careful planning with how to implement it. We want to do it right. We will get to it soon.

In the latest version of Sierra Chart it is now supported to modify manually drawn user drawings. You need to get the drawing, get the LineNumber from the data structure returned and then modify the drawing using sc.UseTool and specify the same LineNumber. Let us know if you need more help. The documentation will be updated as soon as possible. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Hi, I am trying to modify Rays that was drawn by the user (NOT BY ACSIL). If i am changing the begin/end value of the user rays (the line number is always negative value..), than nothing happends, and there is no modification at all. if i am drawing a new Ray (with my line number), that have the same values of the user one, it is can be modifyed...but it does not save it when i am close and reopen sierra chart. What to do? Ariel Date Time Of Last Edit: 2014-06-24 18:48:25

In response to post #28, it will be possible to modify user drawn drawings in version 1154. Refer to the What Is New page for more information when this version is released today. Drawings added by ACSIL which are identified as user drawn, are not saved. This is by design for safety reasons. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
