Is there a way to change the default bar spacing size ? It looks like by default it is 12 pixels. I'd like to change it to 9

The method by which this would be accomplished is to duplicate an existing chart. This is explained here:

I was referring to the bar spacing reset button. It is set default to 12 pixels but there is no settings option to change it.

Okay that is controlled through Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other. We had forgotten about that setting.

Curious why we can set the default Chart Bar spacing in General settings, but then in individual charts we cannot change it? With Numbers Bars, it is inevitable to use a higher value but with normal candlestick bodies, it creates too much empty space in-between. Here is a screenshot of settings of individual chart, in Chart-Graphics Settings Chart.

Is there anyway to solve this? Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other does not work

Hi there, I just want to reduce bar space in the DOM so that I can see more bars. I have a vertical monitor and when I increase window size bars increase accordingly making difficult to read them. Using the proposed method of Global Settings >> Graphics Settings >> Other does not work. I change bar spacing and it does not get applied.

The setting for the bar spacing does not apply to the vertical scaling, which is what we assume you are referring to in this case, given that you are showing a Trade DOM.

The only way to have a set size for the vertical scale on the Trade DOM is to set the scale as you want and then duplicate that window to get the same scale.
