Hello, I am a futures broker, and I am planning on using sierra charts to manage accounts both for myself and my clients. However, with regards to my personal trading account, I would like to have a separate log in, so that the only account I could trade is my personal account. Is this possible? Do I need to purchase 2 copies of Sierra Charts, 1 for my broker account and 1 for my personal account? |

Install two copies of Sierra Chart. One for your own trading account and the other for your clients: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/MultipleServices.html You can use your same Sierra Chart account for both. So you only need one license. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. Ok, but if I do it this way, I will still have to select my own account out of a list with my other clients, right? I want to be able to open my personal account as if it were a self directed account, without any access to my client accounts. Do I need a second license/log in info?

Each copy of Sierra Chart can be configured through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings to use any particular Trading service Username and Password. So what you need to do is use different trading service usernames and configure them to have access to the particular accounts that you want. This is something that you will do on your own side through the trading system backend. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
