can you remove the limitation of the 'Parallel Lines' tool, whereas the 2nd drawn/placed parallel line (point 3) can only be placed or modified (or relocated) along its vertical axis, it should also be able to be moved along its horizontal axis, otherwise in steep Bar formation this tool is not useful; ((see attached picture = left is 'Parallel Lines', right is 'Copy & Move Drawing'; but this requires additional mouse-clicks)). Alternatively, or simply add a NEW tool called "Trend Channel", in which it is the same as 'Parallel Line' tool but with the added feature as described above. |

In 966, there will be a new option on the Parallel Lines/Rays Config called "Allow Horizontal Shift". When this is selected, the third drawing point can shift the parallel lines left and right in addition to up and down. Note, when this is enabled, the optional vertical lines become connecting lines since they are no longer vertical.

Now released, ... changing the (Parallel Line's) color (to the same color) for both Lines is tedious as each line has to be selected to change to the same color. Can you perhaps implement, that when changing the color of the initial line it will change both line colors, but changing the color of the second line will only change color of second line? (note: as I use different colors for different timeframes, setting it's default in Global settings is not impracticable) |

You could open up the Chart Drawing Properties window for the drawing and change all the colors at once.

Another option is to use the tool configurations. Use a second configuration that changes both lines to another color. Then select the drawing, and using the toolbar buttons or the drawing context menu change the drawing config.

Hmmm? ... why does it then take 2 seconds for the properties window to pop up when double click (while all other Menu windows usually take a second or less? (have i7CPU, SSD, 32GBram, etc.)? Everything else in SC is 'speedy-as' ... why not the properties windows?
