chart trading p/l is adding $0.02 per 10 ES contracts traded ie: instead of 125.00C the p/l is 125.02C, or instead of -250.00C the p/l is -124.98C is this enough info to suggest a fix? |

Are you referring to the Open Profit/Loss?

For the position line, that is the open profit/loss. The open profit/loss calculations are going to be based upon the average price of the position and are calculated accurately. Refer to this information here about how the average position price is determined: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_TradeStatusWindows.html#HowAvgPricePositionsCalcUsed Due to floating-point calculation error, and also a slight variation with the average price which you may not be able to see due to display rounding, the final result could be slightly off. There is not any practical solution to this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
