Blacked out menu boxes

Hi support.. All my menu boxes (for example "allow support for sierra chart data feeds") are completely blacked out. They checking/unchecking of boxes work, for example I can reveal my passwords, or not. In the case of the above "allow support" setting, I can't tell if it's turned on or not. I set the Global settings/Global graphic settings to default, no joy. Same with "customize menu items", set those to default. Searched support, googled it. No joy. Sorry to ask.
