Having a problem with an indicator from a higher/lower time frame. Often , I will write the indicator I am trying as a background color as a quick verification of concept. I write ID1,SG1>ID1.SG1[-1], and it looks like a picket fence. It does not give a smooth indication that it is in an uptrend. If I add the other time frame as a Study Overlay, and plot the line using slope of line, it draws smoothly without the picket fence look. It shows a solid up/downtrend. What is the slope of the line doing different than ID1,SG1>ID1.SG1[-1]? |
