I have checked the various posts in this forum but can't seem to solve this. Is it because of trading blocked accounts casuing this issue?

As long as there is order fill data in the current day for the Trade Account the chart is set to, where there is both an opening and closing order fill, then you should see a nonzero value as long as there was a profit or loss.
