Hi, I am currently with AMP Futures and will be changing over to Infinity/Transact. I have an install/enablement through AMP for SC of course. I would like to keep this installation as I have two indicator licences tied to my Sierra Chart Account number. Setting those up again would be a pain.

My question is can I keep my current installation of SC with the associated AC number, and be enabled for this installation via Infitiny/Transact? This I would imagine would save me asking two indicator vendors to set me up again.

Trust this makes sense. I have not done this before.

Thank you.

You can certainly keep the same installation but you are going to require your own direct account to use with it. This is explained here:

You do need to contact them and give them your new Sierra Chart Account Name.

Thanks your response.

As an alternative, the Infinity instance of SC is subsidized. Therefore I would be better off installing their version, and closing my account with AMP. I would need to reinstall or copy indicators to a new data folder. Is this correct? and if so, would I still retain the same SC account number I have now?

Thanks and regards,

Patrick
