Hi, Is it possible that a new bar is forced to print on session start time, regardless whether the last bar of the previous session was completed or not? Thanks. |

Not really understanding this. This is certainly going to happen as soon as a new trade occurs at that time.

It didn't, it continued printing on last bar of the previous session until an hour into the new session then started a new bar. This happened on a 2000-trade per bar chart. I am not able to monitor the actual number of trades in last bar, I would guess that, for example, last bar only had 500 trades when previous session closed, and when new session started, it would continue to print the rest 1500 trades on the same bar until new bar started as the 1st bar of new session, and the previous bar is treated as last bar of previous session, even though 3/4 of the price action in that bar happened in current session. That would cause inaccuracy on chart and Volume by Price study. Thanks, Date Time Of Last Edit: 2018-08-21 02:39:00

I might find a solution, if I use a smaller number of trades, ie 300-trade per bar, then it seems I don't get this issue any more.
