I am having problem with the display of the ADX study in line mode on a chart as only one line is showing every time I attempt to add it to a chart verus 2 SG lines. Any idea of the cause of the problem. It showed correctly on my first switch from Bar to line mode. Secondly, I do not know how to go about your advise to enable me access stocks on the chart. Will it work with the existing service with LMAN? |

The ADX study consists of only a single line. What other lines did you want to display with it? You first need to update Sierra Chart to the current version. You are running an older version. Follow the instructions here: Software Download: Fast Update For stock data you really need to install a second copy of Sierra Chart and use the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service, if you are using LMAX. In the process of downloading and working with second Sierra copy, I observed that the data service for LMAX is no longer working and I no longer have access to real time service from the company. Can you help with steps to address what may have gone wrong? Can the update and installation of a second copy affect the real time data service from LMAX? The ADX is based on 2 lines (ups and downs)? The update has also not addressed the problem |

So do you have two Sierra Chart copies installed on your computer? Each one will run separately. One will not affect the other in any way. Go to the one connected to LMAX and make sure it is connected to LMAX and it should work properly. If not, we need to see the Message Log from it: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog The ADX is just a single line. Refer to the documentation for the calculation method. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
