I have looked everywhere endlessly to try to obtain information on how to get my position data to utilize by referencing in alert conditions. The closest I have gotten is the study "Trading: Position," which contains the "Pos Qty" information, but does not contain the "@Price" data, or otherwise known as the Average Position Price. I would like to be able to use this in an alert condition as I can with the position quantity. I have 2 days left on my trial before deciding upon this software and this appears to be my last hurdle. Thanks guys! |

You can only access this data by using the Spreadsheet System for Trading study: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading There is a cell where this value is outputted to on the Sheet. Or by using ACSIL: Automated Trading From an Advanced Custom Study You cannot do this with simple alerts. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you, I do not want to use the Spreadsheet System. Could you kindly point me in the direction of the source code for the study "Trading: Position" (image of what I am referring to attached)? I have searched through the files and have only been able to come up with the source for the other studies, but can't seem to find this one. When I can finally locate this one, I should be able to have everything I need. Thanks so much for your help in advance. |

Yeah, I don't know how to do that. I was going to replicate the study by using the source as a template. Can anyone help me out? |

The study is called "Trading: Position Average Price" but we can see that it was never listed. This will be in the next release.
