I want to connect to CQG for execution with my broker, but want to use IQFeed for charting. I'm not entirely clear on how to do this. Can I do this in 1 copy of Sierra (if so, how)? Or do I need to run 2 copies of Sierra? Thank you! |

Unless you use IQ Feed with another program and require that data to use better quality data when using CQG, use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed instead: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed And yes with IQ feed you would need two instances. When you use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed all of this can be done within a single instance and the data is fully integrated when using CQG. I use IQFeed with other applications - one of it's distinct advantages. Thanks for the help.

Sierra Chart has this capability as well to feed other programs on the same system. Refer to: Data and Trading Communications (DTC) Protocol Server These other programs just need to support the DTC Protocol which is going to be much easier than IQ Feed.
