How to avoid showing last bar of a moving average displaced one bar forward?

As titled, I have a moving average study displaced forward by one bar. I'm only interested in seeing the second to last value of the MA, which is plotted against the current price bar. How do I get rid of the last value of the MA, so it doesn't show on either the chart panel or vertical scale?

On a related note, is there a way to configure a study to plot only on bar close?

One way to do this is to use the Color Bar Based on Alert Condition, as it will not show the displaced bar by default. We have attached an example Study Collection using this with a Simple Moving Average to show you how to accomplish this. We have also turned on the option Evaluate on Bar Close so it will not update until the last bar closes.
